How do I get help with doing research?

Answer

Hello,

I am a Mt. SAC librarian and I would be happy to assist you today. If you need help with research there are lots of options for ways to get support, including:

    1. You could go to the information desk at the library anytime the library is open and ask a librarian for help with your research- it's fine to say- I have this research paper and I need help finding resources - can you help me? (librarians actually love to be asked this question!)
    2. You could attend a workshop. This is the link for the schedule and this is the link for signing up. Workshops are available online live with a librarian or self-paced or in-person at the Library.
    3. You can sign up for another research appointment. The librarian can teach you how to find sources.
    4. You can chat with a librarian at anytime (24/7).

Good luck with your research!
