What are databases?

Answer

A library database is an organized collection of electronic information. It is searchable in a variety of ways, e.g. keyword, title, author, subject, and more.

The Mt. Sac Library subscribes to many databases that provide access to articles from magazines, newspapers, and scholarly journals. There are also databases that provide access to videos, book chapters and images.
