What are Mt. SAC Library's Course Reserves?

Answer

What are Course Reserves?

Course reserves are course materials that an instructor has made available in the library for students to use. They include textbooks, books, DVDs, articles, etc.

Note: Not all instructors place course materials in the Library. This means the Library may not have every course material being used and or required at Mt. SAC.

Course Reserves Policy

  • Currently registered Mt. SAC students may borrow course reserves items
  • Students may borrow up to 2 course reserves items at a time
  • Students will need their Mt. SAC ID to borrow items from the Library (see FAQs below for exceptions)
  • Course reserves items have up to a 2-hour loan period (you may choose to turn it in before the due time)
  • Course reserves items are due 15 minutes before the Library closes every day
  • Course reserves items are library use only -- all course reserves materials must stay in the library
