Hi,
Access codes can be bought with your textbook or separately. They can be purchased from the bookstore or often times I have seen students purchase then directly from the publisher. If you go to the website that your instructor wants you to use and it will ask for the code, if you don't have one it often will give you a chance to purchase one. The ones I have seen are about $65.
I hope that this helpful, as I work in the library and we don't sell codes. I only know these things from helping students in the past.
